WHAT A DAY! FE was pilling up big time in NZDUSD and I got out with a prifot! How? Well, this morning arount 8 o'clock GMT i realized my $11k, V2.11 NormalVol FE at pepperstone account was in serious danger of being wipped out. DD of 80-90%! All 14 trades (from 0.01 to 3.5 lot) had been fully used and there was only 10-20 pips missing i until would be wipped out. Martingale is all about staying in the game, so foolishly or luckily i decided to close the smaller positions (from 0.10 to 0.32 lots NZDUSD) and free up margin, in order to be able to keep in the game maybe 5-10 pips more.I turned off the computer and kissing my account good bye .. DELETING POSITIONS (0.01 to 0.31) ACTUALLY FREED UP SLOTS SO THAT FE COULD DOUBLE UP AGAIN!! when i looked in the account i saw that my account was still alive and that my biggest position was 5 Lots with TP of 0.82916, that got hit 2 hours ago. So i ended up WINNING today. PURE LUCK!With my XEMARKETS (v3, margin of 1500% at about the same time) account i did not delete positions and FE did not double up at the same level, because the 14 slots were taken. TP is at 0.8260. still losing. this account is much smaller, so the loss is a couple of hundred USD.lessons learned? -> OVER OVER OVER fund your account in order to be able to stay in the game. Deleting positions opens up the possibiliies for FE to double up even more.my next steps? Freeze on take prifot at peperstone and transfer the cash to a micro account, to stay in the game.
